Md. Shahadat Hassain is a member of RDF General Council. Mr. Shahadat is the existing Mayor of Barguna Pourasova. He was also mayor in previous session in the same constituency at Barguna.

He was born in Patharghata Upazila under Barguna District in 1962. He has completed his B.A degree in 1983 and after completion of his degree he was serve as GOB employee & he got early retirement and started business in his early life & done very well in business.

Presently, he is a Giant businessman as well as politician.
